This session from Mana Sadeghipour will cover the IEEE P3119 Standard for the Procurement of Artificial Intelligence and Automated Decision Systems, which is designed to enhance AI procurement processes in organisations by ensuring they are critically evaluating the AI services and tools they acquire.
The IEEE standard is composed of six processes to help users identify, mitigate, and monitor risks commonly associated with high-risk AI systems, and has been developed over 3+ years in an international working group of subject matter experts, critically evaluated in a sandbox by a European agency and feedback was provided by local government authority in the UK. It will be published and available for use in early 2025.
